Categories, Organization, WordPress, Oh My!

I’m always open to learning new things. I find that WordPress is not as easy as it seems and there are a voluminous number of websites to slog through to find the information I seek. I wanted to organize my blog a little more – align the categories so that it is easy to find my creative writing vs. my random thoughts; and within creative writing, children’s stories, romance, horror. I have even considered adding two more categories – because I have skills (not like in the James Bond sort of way). I have spent many years honing a talent for genealogy and I know a thing or two about parenting and helping children through learning difficulties. I also happen to be a pretty decent party planner. These skills are random and don’t necessarily go together. Do I start two or three more blogs? Do I just, as I thought, add pages to this one? This is first and foremost a blog for writing, but the other things would be blogs too. Whenever I venture in to try and add a new blog page it just adds the things i have already written, which is not at all what I am trying to do. Any advice or can you point me in the right direction?
